I was wondering if anyone has had a whistle when there heater/AC fan is on the higher levels? I have an 07 MCS and have now had it in the shop for 2 going on 3 weeks. They've replace the filter enclosure and the casing around the condenser, but have not found the problem. They called me today to tell me that they are bringing in regional tech to look at it, and that they will have the car for another week at least. Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it... Any help would be greatly appriciated?

 

My 05 MCooper had a high pitch squeal. Finally figured it was the fan motor. At variable speeds it would go away, or the pitch would adjust. Replacing the cabin fan motor fixed that. However, today my 05 MCS is just beginning to hint at the same problem. We'll see if it persists. This is supposed to be rare.
