Battery Issue Mini Cooper 2006

I have been having intermittent problems starting my mini. The car will not start from time to time. Had the battery replaced by AAA a couple of months ago. It seems that the + connector is loose. How do I tighten the +connector?

I also had the battery on my 2006 replaced by AAA and initially the connection came off a couple of times. I found that the terminals sit lower than the OEM battery, causing the cable to clamp insecurely at a slight angle. Problems went away when I put a piece of plywood under the battery, raising its height about 3/4".

Thank you, I ended up cutting the plastic fitting so now the cable is sitting a the same level but I do not know if it's related but the fan now runs all the time even after the car has been shut off for 15 minutes. I had to disconnect the battery to stop it.
