Leaving battery disconnected for a week?

The battery on my '05 MCS died yesterday. Took it to the local auto parts store and they tested it and confirmed it was bad. But they don't have that model in stock, and can't get it until at least Sunday. So far I haven't found any other local shop with it in stock, either.

Problem is, I'm leaving on vacation for a week on Sunday morning (obviously not in the MINI).

Will anything bad happen if I don't have a battery for a week? Will anything zeroize, or otherwise be unhappy? Will my service interval counter reset? I realize radio presets and the like are already gone, but anything beyond that?

I have heard that 2 hours disconnected is enough to reset the ECU. It won't hurt anything for it to be disconnected for a while. Have fun on ur vacay peace!
