SO I found my axle boot to be leaking this week and purchased an aftermarket boot kit for the week and was planning on putting on a replacement oem boot kit afterwards, but after looking at was replacement of the boot entails I'm not so sure I want to go about it.

I want to bring it into the dealer and have it replaced but I'm afraid they might not warranty it due to a little bit of body damage on that side (long story search down the forum a bit). If they don't warranty it I can't find a half shaft, anyone have any idea where to get one without buying a whole new axle for over $800?

 

Call around to some of the junk yards. Sometimes, they have hardly used axles available. I know some yards will give you 60 or 90 day waranties. Most of them will ship as well.

 

Yea thats a gud idea, fat chance with only 2007-2010 manual trans axles fitting. The half shafts should be the same on both sides no?

 

You can get almost anything from those junk yards, perhaps even then half shafts. If it is cheap enough, you can pay someone to put it on for you.
