Clattering from motor near oil filter/please help

I have noticed a quite loud clattering noise coming from the oil filter area. I cant detect exactly were but seems loudest on that side of the motor. Possibly from head. Please help with any suggestions?

Use a long socket extension, or screwdriver like a stethoscope - put your ear to it and try to narrow the source location of the noise.
