RPM Gauge cluster not working

Hey I bought my daughter a 2002 5 speed Mini Cooper this weekend and the RPM gauge cluster is not working, nothing, no turn siganal indicaters, nothing on that cluster is working , any idea what could be the problem? Thanks in advance

I'm gonna suggest the most basic, probable cause...

It's not plugged in.

If only one function was inop., I would think it was something else. But since nothing is working, I would look for the harness being disconnected.

The tach pod should come off the steering column easily (torx screws IIRC). You may need to get under the dash to find the harness it plugs into, if it has come loose.
