DSC, ABS, Tire lights on

All three dash warning lights came on at once, right after I backed the car up 50 feet or so, then drove off again. DSC, ABS, and tire pressure. Checked pressures, adjusted one tire, pulled, checked and switched main ABS fuse, others related. DSC is definitely not working, haven't hammered the brakes to test them. Otherwise driving fine. Any thoughts on possible problem?

This is the only sensor I can find, on the left front, but it appears to be height related.
Anybody?
Yeah, I'm buying a shop book soon

This light combo

is almost always a wheel speed sensor. Check to see that the connectors are clean and well seated. Also check to see that the sensor is properly mounted to the steering knuckes and trailing arm. A good diagnostic tool can even tell you which wheel sensor isn't working properly.

+1 to what Matt says.

Your situation sounds vaguely familiar; good luck!

Thank you all. I'll be on it, or at least under it, today. Will be my first time under the car for some general examination, inspection, hope it's illuminating.

speed sensor for sure. if that not in, then its your alignment, but alignment usually wont throw an abs light, so its probably the sensor.

Got it. At first I thought it was just the brake pad wear sensor, but there is a tiny unit, about a half inch long, in the front of the left caliper that is either that, an ABS sensor or the speed sensor; nothing on the right side. When I popped it out, several chunks of if fell out. That makes sense, since the lights came on after the backing up, must have been weak, and the extra strain caused it to fail. I cleaned it up with a file, and there was enough to get it to stay in, and voila, lights out.
I will be on the lookout for a replacement, since the condition it was in suggests it might be prone to fail again, but at least I'll know what's up.
Thanks again for the help.
Can you tell I like the site's smilies?

This same exact thing happened to me on April 3rd. People seem pretty confident it's the wheel speed sensor, so I'm hoping I can just give it cleaning to resolve the issue.

Now if someone could just tell me where the wheel speed sensor is.......

Wheel speed sensor is the black wire going into the top of the steering knuckle behind the brake rotor. Other end of this wire has a plastic barrel connector behind the plastic wheel well. Remove the sensor, wipe of the crud, and reinstall. Unplug the plug, clean, add a bit of dielectric grease, and re-connect.

On my 2005 Cooper it is the brake pad wear sensor, on the caliper, with a lead coming off the top, that broke. I found one for about $15 at
http://www.autohausaz.com/search/car...ah0ffmtonk45fa

Once I replace that, I'll see if the problem returns (it did again after I posted that the lights had gone out.

The brake sensor

won't throw the three lights. The fact that a change of it made the light go away (for a bit) is more an indication the cleaning the speed sensor or cheching the connections will fix the issue.

The trifecta of lights is a CLASSIC symptom of a wheel speed sensor issue.

So what do you suggest when you have the "triple trifecta" and after installing new speed sensors the lights are still on?
