been gettin rattling sound on the two cup holders below the control buttons. any idea how to fix?

 

Nope. I have the same problem, usually worse when I lean my leg against the pillar. If anyone has advice, I'd love to hear it.

 

I had the same issue. The rattling was coming from two places on my r53: the shifter bezel (the ring around the gearshift) as well as where the bottoms of the two pillars seat into the console. I stuck some gray cardboard (about the width of a penny) where they meet on both sides near the cup holders.

 

I have the rattle on the right side pillar. When I grab it, the rattle disappears. I'll probably need to put something (like gray cardboard) in between the hole it sits in and the pillar itself.
