Hi everyone-

I have an 08 R55 and have been noticing a smell I originally thought was burning tires/oil coming through my vents into the cabin when at idle. It smells stronger after I've done longer periods of driving. Short trips I don't notice it.

I popped the hood and didn't see any stains, but it smells stronger like burning oil closer to the intake than the exhaust manifold.

I don't think I have any mods that could affect this, any ideas?

I was worried at first that it was a sign of the carbon buildup but haven't heard any similar experiences.
