Hi guys !

There's my problem :

Yesterday I was driving on the highway at an average of 120km/h
There's was an old men in front of me driving at 100km/h so I decided to downshift in gear 3 and go on the right lane.

When I reached the 5000RPM my engine suddenly stopped by itself.
I putted the key on position 0 and after that on position 3 with a check engine ON

Since this time it does it every time I reach the 5000RPM in every gear


Anybody know whats my problem ?

Sounds like somethings gone TU in your programming, take it to the dealer for a reflash.....

 

Did your motor stop running or go into limp mode? If limp mode, it sounds similar to a car I was riding in when the crank pulley/damper went south.

 

It just stop running...

Yesterday I found my problem on a french forum.
One guy had exactly the same problem that I have. He told me that it is written in the MCS manual that the Mini does it to protect the S/C when the bypass valve is not working perfectly. So I bought the detroit bypass valve and waiting for it !

Until that I can't push my Mini toward 4500rpm ! this is bad !
