Taz, since you obviously know NOTHING about Seafoam, keep your peace. The stuff has been around for 50 years, and is really great. I've been using it in all my cars for 20 years. Especially if you don't have any magical top tier gas stations nearby.

Seafoam will help clean out the fuel system, and get the gunk out. In the OP's case, I think it's the BPV or a vacuum hose issue. I had a small vacuum hose come adrift from the air box, and car had problems.

I just started to use this stuff not too long ago and so far have been happy with it.

Guess what? Mini uses Sea Foam!

Check out this post! A Clubbie S was getting misfires, and a Mini dealership used Sea Foam to decarbonize the valves and combustion chambers.... you can see Sea Foam listed on the service report!

Pretty funny... Wonder if Mini learned about it from all the threads about the stuff in the forums?
