Rubber Guard under Front bumper??

Hey there! Wondering if someone can help.

I was pulling in my garage the other day and my boyfriend told me to stop. I guess he thought I ran over something. But to my surprise he pulled off a piece of rubber that was dragging. Not sure how it ripped off. Its been snowing but not sure if I ran over something that could have ripped it off. But its from the rubber guard under the front bumper. The sides are still intact, but majority of the middle has ripped off.

I have called my Mini dealer service to see if this needs replacing. But I am still awaiting a call back. You can not notice it unless you get down and squat, but I dont want to just leave it, if it protects the car etc.
Does anyone know if this is able to be replaced? General Cost?
Thanks a bunch. Mini Cooper 05 (automatic).. and Just made my final payment Just like a car once Im done paying things start to go wrong..

Followup?

I just contacted my dealer too with the same problem. Have you heard back on an estimate?

Thanks!

If yours is a 2005 MINI, I think you're in the wrong Forum. Yours is a first-gen, no?

It's just a trim piece, I bought mine from parts.com for about $35. It is sitting in the garage. Looks like it is basically just a few screws and clips to replace it.
