In the past couple of days, a brief engine rattle noise has developed when I turn my MCS off. It lasts all of a half second or so, but it's nothing I recall hearing before.

She' running fine on highway/town. I run 93 octane Shell V-Power exclusively. Have a a little over 15K on mileage; consistently getting 32.3 MPG. Oil level is fine/check every fill-up.

Thanks in advance for any comments/observations from the formidable brain trust that is NAM.

 

hmm A friend has noticed the same thing on his 07 MCS that just started a couple of weeks ago. Almost sounds like a stick or something is in the fan but it only happens upon shutdown. My 07 didn't make this noise in the 3 years I had her and my 2010 MCS doesn't either. Has anyone else had this or found a solution??
