DETERMINED

im determined to fix the alignment of my chrome trim at door handle/body panel connection. What is holding the chrome trim on? If I remove it what would it look like and could it be put back on when its time to turn in the car. any other options? this continues to make my blood boil so something has to be done. Thanks all
