so i was driving in 4th gear when i lost all power. i pulled over shut the car off and tried to start my car and it only cranks but wont start? what could it be?

 

that doesn't sound like a good thing. If it happened while you were driving then it wasn't a battery.

Do you have any power or lights that come on?

 

Run out of gas?

 

You have evidently suffered a major flameout. Could be out of gas, but generally there is some stumbling, off and on with that. So it sounds like some variety of no spark, no fuel pump,or etc. Hope fully nothing fatal.

 

i put more gas in i was at a 1/4 tank of gas, i was misfiring in cylinder 3 on monday and i changed my plugs a month ago
