I think i broke some thing

I think i snapped off one of the nipples of the "Activated carbon filter" when the line was touched today. nothing leaked from the line. Is there an easy fix?

can some one confirm this? And is it bad to drive on? at least to get it to the shop to get fixed.

It's an evaporitive emissions line. It will leak some fuel vapor out but not a lot. Not even as bad as leaving your gas cap off. You're fine to drive it to the shop; but there is a good chance that the check engine light will illuminate.

If its just a light... i'm not worried. My lights been on for years for other matters.
