clutch squeel/grind into first gear
clutch squeel/grind into first gear
This seems to happen randomly when I begin driving my car after it has been sitting for a while (like overnight). It also seems to happen almost every time it has been raining, but that could be my imagination.
I have no problems in reverse or in any gears 2-6. However, when I am in first gear at a stop and let off the clutch while pressing the gas there is a squeeling sound. Not super high pitched and not a grind, but kind of like a heavy door with old hinges.
This only happens when I am on the gas and not completely off the clutch yet. I don't rev the engine real high before I disengage the clutch or anything. I have driven a manual transmission for 6 years now so I'm confident I'm not the problem.
Thanks for any ideas you guys might have.
