motor mount options

My motor mount went out again and its annoying that bmw makes a poor part. Do i have any options or to i have to continue buying a part that falls apart in 20k miles.

That is a good Q. I'd bet most tech guys at events wouldn't even notice a difference and the mount is not a performance part it's an replacement part for a bad OEM design.

True... although the tech inspection (at least at our region) is only for safety. They aren't looking at class compliance. Competitors police themselves, there. Regardless, at the local level it probably wouldn't matter... although I'd be willing to be you'd get called on it if you trophied at a national event. Ditto the Powerflex LCA bushings.

Granted, it'll be a long time (if ever) before I have to worry about getting a trophy at a national...
