Is this normal?

In my 2 months of mini ownership, I have become very paranoid and now notice just about every sound, vibration, and rattle coming from the car.

I just had my clutch/flywheel replaced, and noticed a very slight difference in sound when the clutch is engaged in neutral vs disengaged completely. I can only hear the sound with the windows down while the car is not moving. Is this normal? It is extremely quiet, but I just wanted to make sure that transmissions make sound when engaged in neutral.

The R53's (not sure on others) use a dual-mass flywheel that can rattle a bit without any load on it. my car rattles a ton if i release the clutch pedal in neutral very quickly as opposed to slowly. just because it rattles a bit doesn't mean its bad

My R53 has a few rattles also, I tend not to worry about them all that much, crank the radio up a few notches.
