High RPM Engine 'Buzz'

I DO NOT know that I have a problem. Would like to know if this is abnormal or not. When the engine crosses 5500rpm heading for 6k, I get buzzy feedback from the wheel and foot feed. She accelerates smoothly through 5k and then builds a buzzzzzz, a high freq vibration.

Power is not affected. Good pull throughout. Just a buzzzzzzz in the range described. Not noticed in any other rpm range.

MC has 1900 miles and I coddled her during break-in. Seldom go above 4 or 4.5k rpm, so I have little knowledge of what is normal up there.

My R56 did a similar thing when it was new - but only when the AC was on. Strangest thing. The sound went away after I fixed some other rattles in the dash. Also, there was a plastic cowling under the bonnet near the break fluid reservoir that was not installed properly. I had fixed that around the same time, so it could have been that that was vibrating.

Appreciate the thought. Will check out the a/c link and look for other items you noted.
