The body module is bad on my 2008 Mini Cooper S. Is there a source that any one knows about to obtain this body module with out going to a Mini dealer.

 

Try salvage yards and auto parts recyclers. A suggestion is to search eBay for used parts that probably came from a totaled R56 (like here's an engine ). Contact the seller and they might be able to pull a module from the same car.

After you swap out the module, you'll probably still have to go to a dealer to have it programmed.

 

- if this is a hardtop then a 2008 is a GEN2 and you are in the wrong place

- 2008 would be under warranty ... why not take it to the dealer? Did it "go bad" or did you futz with it?
