04 MCS

The drivers side visor "mirror flap" doesn't have enough detent to hold it up in place. In other words, for the cosmetic lighting to come on, you have to manually hold up the door. The passenger side is fine.

Does anyone know how to disassemble the visor?

I forgot the car had mirrors on the visors...

 

My visor mirror is the same way... it's so annoying. I can't believe how shoddy the mechanism is!

 

Mine does this too, does no one have any quick fix?

Speaking of vanity mirrors, I bought a used S this past weekend an just noticed the light covers for the passenger side vanity mirror are gone. Odd. I normally don't check those kinds of things during test drives.
