Key fob ('08 Clubman)went through laundry

It will still start the car but will not lock or unlock. Is there a programming sequence that anyone is aware of that can link the bad unit back to the one that works. I have comfort access.

Give it a couple of days to thoroughly dry out, and recheck. Worked for me with the standard key fob.

It's been dry a couple weeks now. I couldn't figure out why the Mini's alarm was tripped while in the garage; nor could i find the key to turn it off.......finally found it in the dryer! !
