Seat heater is not working???

I have a 2006 Cooper S R53 where my left seatheat has stopped working, when I push the button. I thought it was the button, so I bought a new contact, but there is no light in the button, when I push it. Has anyone had this problem before. The right seatheat is working fine.

Have you checked the under seat connection as being tight? Does the button flash when it's hit or get nothing at all? Check the fuse?

(moving this to the problems/issues forum to get it a little more attention for you as well)

The button gives a short flash when I push it, so there must be power to the button in some way.

Both of mine don't work. There is no flash at all. I haven't checked the fuse yet, because I keep forgetting to.

This is what mine was doing when it was acting up, apparently something was ary, after getting my airbag in that seat replaced, the under warranty dealer solution was to replace the seat heater, however I'm unsure how much was just to avoid having to do a diagnosis.
