Eh.. an other issue of the door lock problem.. Is there a recall on that ? I can't beleive so many people are having troubles and the only solution is to get a new actuator.. There has to be a design problem somewhere.. I've had many cars.. old craps too and I've never seen such thing..

Anyway..

Okay.. Yesterday I saw that my driver door lock had a problem.. The first thing is that when I pressed the toggle to get the doors locked, it worked except my door.. So I pressed it again and it worked.. I tough maybe it was a coincidence and did not think about it again.

Later, the same thing happened and pressing the toggle switch again it did not work... realised there was a problem and I was far from home I manually locked all the doors..

The problem I am having right now.. I just removed the door panel, unplugged the actuator.. I'm still having this issue.. I first tough that unplugging it would put the circuit back in a state that the switch or remote would be able to lock/unlock the doors normally... But no.. There are still some issues..

Here is the list of all the troubles I have since yesterday.

remote or toggle switch unlock: Will unlock the trunk and the passenger door
remote or toggle switch lock: Do nothing <-- This is an issue because I can't manually lock the trunk... or I don't know how ?!

For the moment, manually locking the doors is not too much of a problem.. I'll get myself new actuators if necessary..

The problem I have with that.. is that I can't lock the trunk.. I have a "lot" of things in the trunk (rollerblades, tools, sometimes my laptop bag, etc..)
I feel unsecure that I can't lock the trunk.. anyone can come to my car, press the button under the handle and open the trunk..

I've read somewhere that uinplugging the battery can fix some stuff.. I'm going to put back the door togeter and I'll do that to see if it work..

Anyway.. I'll go at my dealership next week and see what they recommend.. If anyone have tips for me to manually lock the trunk.. I'd be really happy to get your comments!
