Service reset

Service reset

ok after resetting everything on my car, my SERVICE reminder is still on. So i continued playing around with the reset mode in the tachometer and noticed that my front brakes dont want to reset. Everything else is reset and the check mark is placed when i tried to reset it again, meanwhile front brakes are attempting to reset themselves without no luck, is the brake sensor for blame? my brake lights are all good, dont show any signs of trouble.

Sounds like your mini is trying to tell you something.!!!! You need to have those brakes checked.

lol, i changed the pads to Hawk HP when he turned 10k miles.

Your MINI knows the wear sensor hasn't been changed. 25 bucks at the dealer or just cut the end off and tape the two wires together.

why did the rear reset without a problem ( i changed both ends ) but as per your response, why no brake indicators ever were triggered?

The only culprit is your wear sensor. If it's still good it should look like this:

ok i did the wire thing for now, but it still didnt wanted to reset, ill pick a new sensor soon and see whats up. how does a broken sensor looks like? whats getting damaged?
