Overfilled 1/2 quart engine oil will cause problem?
oil
For mine, I bought 1/4" tygon tubing from a bigbox hardware store and a siphon bulb from and autostore (the tube that came with the bulb was too large diameter to thread down the dipstick tube). It worked, but after all was said and done, it was not worth it. If it bothers you, do it. Realistically, 1/2 a quart is not going to hurt anything.

As stated, check the dip stick to see overfilled it really is. Might not be the far above full. 1/2 quart should not be a problem. In my opinion, not worth sucking oil out. If it really bothers you just drain a little out from the drain plug (will be a bit messy but if it helps you sleep better, well worth the mess).

I was check dipstick, the oil level is above the top mark about 1/2 inch. Hmm.. It's the world hardest dipstick to read.
It need bright day light with paper towel.
Since it has no any bad sign. I think it should be Okay too to leave it 5 qt in oil pan. It's properly common mistake for many people (like me.)

on any other car y'd risk blowing a crankcase seal by overfilling the oil by that much. I would try to drain some out (messy yeah), recheck, and refill.
and check MossMini, MINIMania, etc for a/m R56 dipsticks that are a LOT easier to read. I have one on mine, and it's soooo much less hassle.
