R53 brakes hissing

Hey guys,

anybody ever had your brakes hiss?
i have a 03 R53

it doesn't hiss when i press the brakes but when i let go it hisses.

could it be a bad cylinder? not sure?

Check your brake booster, sounds like a vacuum leak

will it cause brake failure?

i just need to make sure it will last until i bring it to the dealership to get fixed.


also: anyone know where i can get a link to an 03 MCS service manual?

no, it wont cause a brake falure. If it fails completely it will be very hard to press the pedal and take more effort to stop it.

Bentley makes a great service manual for the 03 it about $100, some times you can pick one up used for about $60.
