Factory header...

split in two. Its just south of the O2 sensor. Any advice or experience here?

p.s. yes the straight-pipe sound is killer. if you like making the local ricers just pull over this is a must do mod.

Yeah, it happens from time to time, you may be able to take it to an exhaust shop and have them run a bead around it to seal it back up.

The OE header is warrantied until 80k miles, outside of California. If the split is at the pre-cat and the header is past warranty, remove the pre-cat and replace with tubing.

My header split in 2 on thursday. The precat brke at the weld. I took it out and welded it back together with a mig. I hope it works as I don't have the cash right now for a new header.
