Corrosion Warranty Cut In Half?
Just noticed that the corrosion warranty has been reduced from 12 to 6 years. Interesting. Did they notice a problem in progress? Another cost-cutting measure?

oldsbear where did you see that?

Because my '09 MCSa still has the 12-year rust perforation limited warranty on it.

Maybe they are still using the warranty data from web pages of years ago?

It went from 6 years to 12 years in 2005 - and IS backdated for the 2002+ models.

I would be a bit skeptical of dealer websites for up-to-date information.Out of curiosity I just checked MINIUSA.com under Contact & FAQ and it lists the warranties on the MC's.

12-year/unlimited-unlimited-mileage warranty against rust and corrosion perforation.(Note,12-year warranty applies to 2004 models and newer.Earlier models have a 6-year/unlimited mileage warranty against rust and corrosion perforation.)
