Front Passenger side Knocking/Clunking when car is cold
I changed the CAB's thinking that was the culprit and the fact that the dealer said they were bad (when in for warranty work). BTW, changing the CAB's made absolutely no difference. Right now the car is in the shop as I hit a curb hard and ripped out the front suspension...$2600 + in damages. I am betting I took out the noisey part(s) in the process....
The saga continues Still Clunking bad when cold 15min in gets 75% better, control arm bushing done, both ball joints done, swaybar links done sway bar bushing seem fine I'm at a loss????? Maybe my Helix camber plates went bad???
SWAYBAR BUSHINGS!!!!!!!!!! Damn swaybar bushings! Finely ran out of ideas so I said screw it drop the sub frame and change them. POOOOOOF like magic noise gone. They seemed good in the car they looked fine out of the car but changed them did it front end feels more stable to?
Thanks for posting the solution.
I am having the same noise when cold.
I am planning on replacing the LCA bushings this spring while I replace the oil pan gasket and will take care of the sway bar bushings too,
