Dirty! =)

So I picked up my MINI today and the service log in the car only had one comment.....

Dirty!!!

She is pretty dirty right now but it is not like I had the chance to clean her before she broke down and needed a tow.

I guess it is time to make an appointment to have her detailed. Haha!!

I guess you're not an OCDetailer !

Whenever I take one of my MINIs into the dealership, the first thing they say is, "I guess you don't want it washed".

Of course, I have a scheduled appt and not emergency service.

And for what it's worth, unless you know the pro detailer, don't let them touch your car. Why pay someone else to do a shitty job when you can do that yourself ??

I took my car in to have it serviced yesterday and when my SA walked around it to check for damage etc. he also noted "Dirty." He said he assumed there were no scratches or anything under the dirt.

So they must like to write "dirty" a lot

My MINI is black so it does not take much to look dirty. It was snowy last week so all the salt on the roads did not help.

I do think I may pay to have someone detail the car since I just do not have the tools to do the interior really good. It is too cold for me to wax the MINI myself.

During the winter months, you can read this forum;
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...splay.php?f=12
Then next spring you will be ready to take on all your own detailing
