What is the maximum capacity for oem fuel injectors

i have a 2003 cooper s in which i have an alta 15% pulley. I just put the alta cai on two days ago. Are the stock fuel injectors gonna be able to hold the extra power? i've read that the oem injectors are good up to 200hp. i dont plan on any more modding until make sure the car wont detonate.

Don't worry about it. The stock injectors are good for at least a pulley (don't neglect cooler plugs), CAI, cat-back and an ECU upgrade.

Do injectors when/if you are considering a head or header upgrade.

I opted to go bigger with the new pullet 15% just because my wideband was showing the car going fairly lean on the top end. not to the point where it will hurt anything just like to have a bigger safety net.

just putting injectors in with no tune wont help the curve up top.

what are you showing on the wideband up top?

i havent put the car on the dyno since i did the intake. it was at 175hp when i put the pulley on back in march. but i talked to tech at grassroots garage. he told me that the car actually runs a little rich during highway driving and runs just a little bit lean during full throttle. but he said that unless i was driving the autobahn i wouldn't have much to worry about. lol. I still plan to get the jcw injectors and do performance tune

Ok, so I have my 15%, CAI, and I just got my header installed. I'm planning on doing my cat back next. My custom tune is going to be my capstone, but from what you're saying I should upgrade my stock fuel injectors now?
