how do I remove the window?

My drivers side window is not working. Unfortunately, it is stuck down. I got a new motor and have the door panel removed. I have the Haynes manual and also found a couple threads here that say to use a 3/16" allen wrench and reach between the window and the outer door skin and remove the two bolts holding the window to the regulator.

Well, with the window down, there's not enough room under it to get my arm in there to reach the bolts.

Any hints on how to remove the window with it down?

Thanks.

George

Whew! Finally got the window out. I removed all 4 bolts holding the regulator, then I could move the regulator/window assembly JUST enough to get my arm under the window and blindly put the allen wrench into the bolt head. The rear bolt was a real pain cause there was less room and it was hard to get the allen wrench into the bolt at an angle where I could get some torque to it.

Now, on to replacing the motor!
