HELP! Glove box door on my 05 S will not OPEN

I have an 05 S and the glove box door has decided it does not want to open anymore. Is there anyone that knows of a solution? Besides destorying the inside of the car to get in.

You might have better luck posting this in the 1st Generation MINI's forum. Not to be insulting but are you sure it's just not locked?

I am not sure now which postion the key slot should be in now that i have been messing with it so much. Yes I am sure it is not locked.
