"Misfire Cylinder 3" code...
"Misfire Cylinder 3" code...
For those following my adventures here and here (short version... multiple overheats; the head was warped 0.006", machined, and reinstalled...just got the car back 4 days ago), I was out measuring my water temp today when my service engine light came on. Restarts wouldn't reset it, so I went to Autozone and had them pull the code for me. I got a "P0303 - Misfire Cylinder 3".
Should I have simply had them reset the light and see if it comes back, or given the recent work should I take this back to the dealer and deal with all the hassles (making sure they have documentation of the problem).
