Whats up everybody! well i was cleaning out my oil catch can and dissconnected the pvc valve that is on the valve cover. (the one in front of the mini logo) i think its the pvc anyway...

ok so when i put it back on.. like the smart guy i am, i tighted it to much and it cracked.. so right now i just have a hose shoved in the opening and connecting to my catch can tubing... could this is the reason the light keeps comming on.. somtimes it doesnt come on untill much later in a drive... there is no real pattern.

i gotta make it to mini to get the valve... dah! i hate when i break somthing without having a good excuse!

There may be auto parts stores in you area that will plug an OBD scanner to you car for free. The scanner code would at least confirm or deny your suspicions.

Just an FYI.........it's PCV - Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve, although it may be made from PVC.
