There have been a lot of problems regrading surging, stalling etc, and various software were released and claimed to kill these problems. However, have these problems been really fixed yet?

From my reading these are not MC 5-speed problems.

There are many MCS 6-speed problems with "surging"
and many mc CVT problems with stalling.

I have not heard many MC 5-speed related problems like this.

I haven't had any problems, what you list are MCS problems..
