Discovered fuel leak when filling
Recently I realized that there's a slight fuel leak directly underneath the filler cap when refueling.
I got the car jacked up tonight, took the drivers side rear wheel off and pulled the fender wall back. The small rubber hose ( ~ 12" long, 1.5" diameter) that connects the plastic fill line to the gas tank has worn itself against the suspension, creating a small ~ 2mm tear.
Good news is that it will only leak when being filled. Does anyone know how I could figure out the part number for this hose? I'm thinking if I make it slightly shorter, .5" or 1", I can avoid the rubbing issue. In the stock configuration, it has a pretty sharp 90* bend. I don't see why a 1" shorter hose would cause an issue.
Any other suggestions?
