i have a problem with my 05mcs. It has a intermitent temp problem, except it is not overheating at all. the temp gage just goes crazy. The car won't start because of the gage readings. It either is pegged out or it doesn't register at all. Thus causing it not to fire, or die while it is running. I've put it on a scaner but with it being an intermitent problem i can't find anything wrong. can the coolant temp sending unit be the cause to my problems . Has anyone ever run into this before?
