Has Anyone Returned Their MINI to The Dealership

Let me say first, my dealership sevice rep has been great. That said...

Has anyone ever returned their Mini to the dealership because they couldn't solve an issue.

The tech guys at the dealership don't seem to think there is anything wrong with my rear suspenion even though they have not even taken the time to remove the shock and spring assembly to inspect to see if there is an issue.

I don't know what to do anymore. I love my MCS but can't live with a sagging suspension.

Were you the one that said one side of the rear car seemed to be sagging? Did you check out another car to see if it feels the same?

I'm the the guy. I've been driving their loaner car for 2 days and it drives just fine. I am totally clueless to why they haven't tested to see if the shock is bad or even pulled the assembly out to expect it. Is that laziness? The car only has 6,000 miles on it.

It's been my experience that before they do anything "major" on a car, they'll send info to engineers somewhere and wait for them to tell them how to proceed especially if parts need to be replaced. If you're in a loaner car, what are they doing with your car? Have they told you their plan of action or inaction?

I had to return my r53 because it was a complete lemon but not my r56. I love both cars and it didn't bother me tht my r53 had those problems because it was under warranty but it bothered BMW. They had changed the gearbox 2, the suspension had problems which ended in me having to change a tire once a month, the supercharger, battery failures, rattles, the electrical system and sunroof issues (also on my X3) etc....
