I did a search but could find nothing. I need to replace the right front parking light on my 2003 cooper S. The turn signal bulb is easy but I can't seem to remove the small bulb inside the same housing. I get the electrical connector off, but cannot pull or twist out housing to get at the bulb. Sure hope I do not have to take the darned bumper off and then the light assy.Thanks

 

i am having same problem.. . i got the white led i wan to install... i dun wan ot go to my dealership if i have a choice

 

anyone have a solution?

You're goin about it the right way....they can just be kinda stuck in there. The bulb holder should be twisted counterclockwise about 1/4 turn...same as the side marker bulb. (pg 12.7..photo 5.13 in the Haynes)

 

its not easy but that how its done....after some brusies and dirt...
