Actually I got pissed at myself and went back out to check, it was number 41, and it was blown. I replaced it and ran the AC on "LO" for the last 30 minutes, and the power steering fan is running and silent. I'll have to keep an eye on it, but it seems like it might be ok. Maybe something hit it and ended up stopping the fan and blowing the fuse. I wonder if there is a way to hook up a LED light to that same fuse, so we know when its running or blown? I'm not an electrical guy, so does anyone know how to hook such a thing up?
And Xymox, you must have as much of an OCD problem as I do...

You know, my previous couple cars I didn't have much OCD. But, this one reminds me all too well of my Volkswagen Corrado. A lot of unique looks, and fun driving, but a keen eye for what could potentially go wrong. Ironically, they were both engineered a little *** backwards.

Oh, and I still haven't been able to find out just when that PS fan runs. The only time I've heard/seen it run is when the A/C is engaged and the cooling fan kicked into high gear (like you mentioned).

I am reviving this old thread to note perhaps someone was listening. There is now a fuse that contains a light to help identify a blown fuse as suggested in the quote above. Search for Smart Glow Fuses by Littelfuse. I plan to replace the fuse for the PS Fan in my Mini with one of these.
