My '08 MCa has gone wacko!
This afternoon (95F day) I lost some personal settings on the fob (non comfort access type), the sunroof won't open without a push, and I can turn off the engine while driving down the road! Isn't it supposed to be in park before you can turn it off?

 

i think you can turn off any car when you are driving ... if you deliberately turn it off no matter whether you are in "P", "R", "N", "D"

 

I have turned off the engine to see if it worked and coasted in neutral to my garage from about 300 yards out. The steering was stiff and the brake pedal got harder but I did it! I wouldn't do it again.
