Hey today my check engine light came on and I got a auto zone diagnosic and it says something about high RPMS and emissions . I have the milltek catback exhaust and was wondering if anyone has had this problem or just me. I have a 07 S.

 

I just had this happen to me this morning and I've got just over 13K on the clock. I'm betting it's probably an O2 sensor needing a reset or something really silly like that. Just take it to the Mini service guys and they'll fix it right up.

I've notice on most cars made after about 1998, the electronics/sensors are super sensitive and throw maintainence codes much quicker than older cars. My Dads Mercedes did this a couple times and my brothers 2004 Mini did the same.

 

I had the same thing happened around 4,000. My dealer re-flashed and it went away for 500 miles. I told them it came back on and a couple of days later I had an appointment for a new o2 sensor. It was replaced by factory warranty. No prob since then!

Side note: I have the Alta turbo back exhaust but sensor still replaced. I don't know if that's just my dealer (I have a very good relationship with them) or that a dealer might blame it.
