Like so many other S's, our has the death rattle in the SC. So I've started changing it out.

I've managed to get all the way down to having all the bolts out of the SC except for the ones holding it to the water pump. Is there a way to get it out without pulling the water pump? If not, how in the heck does the water pump come out? Do I have to pull the front bumper/radiator? If so, has anyone documented that?

Bentley manual says yes, take the bumper off, and also pull the modular front end forward, leaving it supported by long bolts. Right wheel well liner comes out. Waterpump comes out still attached to the supercharger. Hope this helps.
