OK, I'm on the verge of a panic.

I just disassembled my center console and installed a piano black overlay on the speedo. It looks terrific with the piano black domed decal on my center stack. Basiclly only the tach has a white gauge face now, and everything else in the car is redwood red or piano black.

One not-so-little problem: after reinstalling the speedo needle... the speedo does not want to stay zeroed!!! I'll drive around and push the needle into place to match the digital readout. Stop and start a few times to make sure it stays that way. Then when I go park... a few minutes later the needle drops down below its normal just-slightly-below 0 MPH position... and over the LED horizontal screen a bit. Start and drive off, and it's now 5-7MPH slow on the needle vs. the digital. Pull the needle off and reposition. Stop and shut down and it does the same thing a few minutes later.

Anyone know whats going on!?!

Please help!
