I have a factory scoop and wanted to reinstall it but I broke the plastic tabs that hold the screws! ORDERED a new one and wanted to know if I am just crazy strong and should get someone else to do it or change what I am doing? Thanks for the help the mini looks naked without the scoop!

 

for all who might be waiting! I talked with the service guys from mini of Charleston man y thanks to adam!!! The key to not breaking the scoop is trying to remove all the LOCK TIGHT that come from the factory on the bolts! You got a 50/50 shot at breaking the plastic tab if you do not! What he did for me was to continually add and remove the bolt until it wore down! Also added a degreaser which helped and after a good conversation and 15 min I have a new hood scoop!!! Hope this might help the next person that is as unlucky as I am!
