My glass came off and did the same thing. I have to take it in on the 13th and see what they do. Knock on wood it helps. Is your car loud when you drive? I would look and see if the window is attached at the bottom the place they put the glue for the glass.

same here on passenger side! The window is tilted and does not fully seat into rubber trim. Rain is ok, but washing it is not.

MINI2 Forums

Someone else over on the MINI2 forums posted this same issue as:

5) Clubdoor window coming away from Clubdoor - leaking in from rear of door; window to be removed and mastic seal to be reapplied.

I'm going to have to check mine as well to see if this is a wider issue.

Oh man, I hope this is not what I am going to see when mine arrives! I bought the mini because after five years, my wife's has been perfectly reliable!

Clubmen DO NOT leak - or at least mine doesn't - so I'm very sorry to hear of anyone who has this problem. Obviously it's a warranty issue that your dealer must fix while he lends you something to use while he has the car. And MINI USA will be glad to hear of any rogue dealers who try to fob you off.

dlpruk, glad to hear your's is doing well. I'm sure most folks won't have this problem, but being it's a new model I'm not suprised to see this kind of thing happening.

It's not all that new really as they've been making 'em since October!

I am very familiar with being new! MY SSR was one of the first 1000 and had lots of challenges, but it was so much fun! I think the clubber will be a blast too!

I know it's hard to read about these things - especially if you're the owner who is experiencing them. I do, however, appreciate hearing from people such as David - and reading on MINI2 as well - who've had theirs longer and do not have problems.

Let's hope the problems are few and they're dealt with effectively as soon as possible.

Please keep us up-to-date and best wishes for a solid fix!

This was my first post. I like to thank everyone for their input, Monday I will see about the latch on the club door. It a great car, but I don't want it wet inside. I will try to contact the regional rep. for florida, if I can find out who it is. The family and I love our white pepper clubman, but the problem needs to be resolved. Thank you again for all the input.

+1

Lemon Law!!!
Do not accept this vehicle. Get a new one.
I'm not sure what it is in your state, but I'm counting more than 3 repair attempts and it sounds like you might even be approaching 10 days of repair time. Either one here in MA and it theirs with full refund minus 15 cents per mile you drove it.

Ugh, its posts like this and the pages of the "rattling" engine issue that keep pulling my finger off the Clubman trigger.

valle1, I hope your problems have been resolved.

Just in case anyone has experienced a club door issue, please read this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=138667 There have been a very few that have needed new cables for the club door. Mine did and it's now fine.
