does anyone know if the dealers offer a rebuid kit for the power steering pumps ?

they sell rebuild kits? i'm just looking at options being this will be my third pump and i'm tired of shoveling money into the mini power steering hole . so if i can rebuild my own ...

 

THIRD pump? My gosh, thats inexcusable. There should have been a nationwide recall on them. Shame on you MINI.

yup first one was warranty then this one went so yeah i'm going on three . plenty here are on two . the mini mechanic who first took care of the car couldn't believe the horrible design . he's a bmw mechanic first . he thought the lines could have been longer and rerouted to add capacity .
